What is the best companies to buy engagement rings?
I am looking to get married next year and there are so many choices to buy engagement rings from. I am very meticulous to where I would like to buy a diamond ring, and would like any suggestions on the best companies I can buy from. Can anyone help me with this question. Sorry, I forgot to mention where I live at... I live in NYC and I would like to spend a good amount of money for a very good quality diamond engagement ring and wanted to know the places where either I can get good value for a really top grade diamond and ring, or a very nice name brand... As you can see, I am very out of my element when it comes to jewelry. Ok thank's

- We went to the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin California, after looking all over. Diamonds are overpriced but this store was not a high pressure place and the stones were fairly priced. You chould check Costco also, they have some beautiful diamonds there. Do your homework first and learn about diamond grades before you buy.
- I also was facing that dilemma about six months ago. I ended up buying my ring at a place called the Diamond Warehouse. They were great and gave me a great deal. I wish you the best of luck with the ring and the engagement !!
- Well My fiance bought my diamond ring @ Robbins Bros, and the ring its GORGEOUS! theyre pretty good! GOOD LUCK & BEST WISHES!
- zales or Kay or hey if its not real diamond u want tehn try lookin oncomputer for BELLA LUCE jewelry....its not real but hey it looks so real and is gorgeous an cheap
- If money isn't a problem, then Tiffany & Co. Almost any girl would pass out if you handed her a little blue box with a white ribbon around it. However, if you're on more of a budget, I would suggest going to a local home town jeweler with a good longstanding reputation. You get more personal attention, plus, they usually do custom work if you want an original design. Any of those chain stores in the mall like Kay or Marks & Morgan aren't going to offer the same kind of experience you can get from someone who owns their business and has earned the trust of countless repeat customers. Nothing wrong with those places, but there's a little more of a turnover of employees so you're likely to deal with someone with a lot less experience. Good luck. Congrats! Since you live in NYC, and you said money isn't the problem, you want high quality, definitely go with Tiffany & Co. Can't get any better quality than that. Those people know what they are doing. Cartier also has incredible quality. However, they call it the "Tiffany Setting" for a reason. Its the epitomy of classic engagement rings and good taste. Can't go wrong. Trust me.
- You didn't say where...I would go with the Jewelry Exchange
- I went to the Shane Company. I also had two friends who went there as well. We each received really good customer service, knowledgeable employees and I got a pretty good deal for the diamond and band I picked out! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
- Costco! The retail markup on diamonds is incredible.. you know you're going to pay minimal markup at Costco and their return policy is second to none. You aren't paying for fancy showrooms, commission salespeople, advertising campaigns, phony financing deals, or any of the things that artificially inflate the price more than necessary. I would definitely look there first :)
- You could have a look around here http://www.nimisis.com/halfpricebargains/US/3890311
- Why don't you try the diamond district on 47th street. I know quite a few people who got some beautful diamonds there and reasonable.
