Is it cheaper to buy Engagement Rings in South East Asia than the UK?
I'm travelling to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia and am in the market for an engagement ring. I've heard it could be much cheaper to buy a ring or a diamond to have mounted in one of these countries rather than buying one in the UK. I've just no idea where to buy one, how much cheaper they will be and I'm a bit worried being ripped off and buying a fake.

- If you are afraid that you will buy a fake one just make sure the diamond has a certificate, GIA, IGI, HRD or AGS. However I do not think that you will find a big difference unless you go for an uncertified one, and anyway you can not guarantee that you are buying a good quality diamond or even that you are buying a diamond from the first place. Iam a regular traveler to the south east and I noticed long time ago that the fraud is very very common there,watches, jewelery, electronics even clothes brands! Malaysia can be a better place but still I do not think that you will find a big difference. I think that your best way to go is online.Visit the website below for recommended online stores.
