Is it weird to go to a jewelry store & browse engagement rings if I'm a female? I don't know what type I like!
I believe my boyfriend is looking to "pop the question" before the end of this year (I've heard this by mistake). The only problem is that I have NO IDEA which type of engagement ring I like! I tried searching the Internet, but it doesn't really help. Is it weird to go into a jewelry store and ask to try on different rings?

- Nope, in fact, I think it's pretty smart since you won't end up with a ring that you will hate wearing, while your boyfriend won't end up gritting his teeth over having spent money on something that you apparently don't like. XD In fact, I say let him pop the question without the ring, and go shopping for rings together (unromantic? Oops.). Hehe.
- My bf and I went together to purchase the ring. Such a big expense, and face facts....guys buying jewelry? They have no clue and will end up buying whatever the salesgirl recommends. You have to wear it every day, it really ought to be something you like! If you don't want to seem pushy, go shopping with him, and then let him watch and pick up on your tastes (if you are pretty sure he is going to go ahead and buy something as a surprise). Make sure he knows very basic stuff like whether you like gold tone or platinum tone, simple or ornate.
