What is the best jewelry store to shop at for engagement rings to get the best price and quality diamonds?

I'm thinking about getting engaged and I want to get the most for my money but I want a real quality diamond. I'm just not sure which jewelry stores to trust. There are so many.

6. I agree if your from the US - try to pop up to Canada - they have some of the best diamonds at great prices. I bought mine from Spence Diamonds. Extremely pleased. There is one in Toronto and a few others in Ontario.
7. Kay or Rogers. I am in the process too.. my bf and I have been looking. We went to probably ten stores and found the best values and sales at these two. It also helps if you know someone there... they will give you extra discounts. :) Good luck! Congrats!
8. I'd say go to a reputable online jeweler, like BlueNile.com. You get a great deal, on a quality diamond. You can actually choose which diamond characteristics you want (i.e. the 4 c's stone size/shape), and go from there. Good luck!
9. I didn't go there personally, but The Jewelry Exchange (jewelryexchange.com?) is supposed to have great deals. My fiance bought my ring from bluenile.com
10. Do your research online, and make sure you know what constitutes a good quality diamond and all that. My engagement ring actually came from Costco - it's a really nice diamond and appraised for quite a bit more than my husband paid.
